What began as an annual Christmas Bazaar in December 1960 has grown into the Guildhouse, a hospital gift store which is open Saturdays, year-round.

The Guildhouse opened doors as a permanent brick-and-mortar store in 1975, after a dedicated team of Barlow Respiratory Hospital physicians, nurses, staff and ex-patients painstakingly converted an old dormitory into the beautiful store we have today.

To date, the Guildhouse has raised over 1.5 million dollars for the patients of Barlow Respiratory Hospital.  Our current goal is to replace the hospital’s aging patient beds with state-of-the art ones, greatly improving our patient’s experience.
